Windmill Hill side-return
This Victorian mid-terrace has several internal level changes and a lean-to utility and toilet on the rear. We provided design options in 3D to show how keeping the lean-to and added a side return would compare to removing it. Ultimately, the clients decided to remove the lean-to and build a side return with fully glazed roof to create a bright spacious kitchen open to the dining area, and access to a level patio. We designed planted terraces into the huge level change in the garden in bright white to reflect the light back into the space.
