St Andrews wraparound

This lovely Victorian mid-terraced house had a separate kitchen and dining room, on different levels. The spaces were dark, and the natural solution was to infil the side-return and knock the spaces together to form a wonderful bright family kitchen dining space.

The combination of large frameless glass rooflights and slim-framed sliding glass doors flood the space with natural light. The addition of a triangular window above the new roof to direct light into the rear reception room is a great little designer tip.
